According to a conference on advancing legitimate software jointly held by the Leading Group Office of national campaign on combating IPR violations and on the production and distribution of fake and shoddy products, the General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP), Government Offices Administration of the State Council, Government Offices of Departments under the Central Committee, Central state organs have spent 41.43 million yuan purchasing 53,915 sets of authorized operating system software, office software and antivirus software since October 2010 to February 10, 2011.
Supervising and reviewing of the campaign will commence from this month and State Council requires that Central state organs and local governments should accomplish supervising and reviewing of the campaign to advance using legitimate software before the end of May and the end of October respectively. www.pemaauto.com
